Order your shipping box

Fill out the order form below to purchase your reusable trombone shipping box, and postage three ways. The wooden shipping box has been specifically designed by us to ensure the safety of your trombone slide and comes equipped with foam inserts and a screw top lid. This design provides protection when you send the slide to us and when we send the fully serviced slide back to you.

Pack up your trombone slide and ship it to us.

Use a screwdriver to open the screw top lid of your shipping box. Remove the return label and place your trombone slide inside the box. Replace the screw top lid, place the return label on the outside of the box, and take the box to your local post office for mailing.

We service your slide and send it back to you!

Once we finish the work, we will send you an invoice. The price of trombone slide service (does not include shipping or shipping box) is either $175 or $245 depending on the service provided. If we need to remove the outside slide crook to realign the outside slide tubes you will be charged $245.

Full Service Cleaning Includes:

  1. Ultrasonic cleaning

  2. Cleaning, scrubing, and polishing of inside of slide

  3. Removal dents and alignment of slide tubes

  4. Removal of outside slide crook and realignment outside slide tubes, if necessary. (Completion of this step requires payment of the maximum amount of $245)

  5. Removal of slide crook dents (Included when removal of crook is necessary, $245)

  6. Replacement of cork barrel felts, slide crook bumper, and water key pad.

  7. Final machine polishing of interior of outer slide tubes.

1. How do I know if my trombone slide needs to be cleaned?
   -  The easiest way to see if your trombone is dirty is to pull out the slide and look down the mouthpipe. If there are chunks of debris on the inside it is time to get it cleaned. Other signs include a gummy slide or bumps in the action.

2. How often should I get my trombone slide cleaned?
 -  We recommend instruments that are played on a regular basis be cleaned every year.

3. How long does it take to clean my trombone?
 -  5-10 business days after we receive the trombone.

4. How much will the total shipping cost?

- The shipping which includes shipping the box to you, you shipping the trombone slide to us, and us shipping the fully serviced slide back to you is dependent on your location.
